Vietnamese people mourn for President Tran Dai Quang
(VOVWORLD) - Hearing of the death of President Tran Dai Quang after a serious illness on Friday morning, Tran Anh Duc, a resident of Dong Phong ward, in Lai Chau city, expressed his grief: “We were shocked over the surprise news that President Tran Dai Quang passed away. His death is a great loss of the Party and State. Please, accept my condolences to Mr. Quang’s family, the Party, and State.”
Nguyen Vu Minh, who lives in Da Nang city, said President Quang created a good image when Vietnam successfully hosted the APEC Year 2017 and the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Da Nang last November. Mr. Minh said: “We are very sad over the sudden death of the President. Mr. Quang did a good job in hosting the APEC Year 2017 and the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week, when he, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, received foreign delegates, showing Vietnam’s rising position and its people’s hospitality to foreign friends.’
