Vietnamese rice makes name in world market
(VOVWORLD) - Loc Troi 28, a short term rice variety from Vietnam, has surpassed Homali rice variety of Thailand and SKO of Cambodia to win the top quality award at a recent rice convention in China.

Huynh Van Thon, Chairman and General Director of Loc Troi corp, said the high-yielding variety was well received thanks to its fragrance and nutritiousness that meet the strict demand of consumers regarding quality and food safety.
Last year, Vietnam exported more than 6.1 million tonnes of rice, earning more than 3.1 billion USD.
