Vietnamese SMEs urged to reform proactively

(VOVWORLD) -National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has urged small and medium-sized businesses in Vietnam to reform themselves and apply scientific and technological advances in production and management to improve productivity, quality, and competitiveness.

At a meeting with representatives of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Hanoi on Wednesday, she asked the Association to further improve its capabilities and involve in social criticism and the compilation of legal documents relating to businesses.

She encouraged businesses to think big to build trademarks and expand markets domestically and internationally, contribute to national prosperity, and show their social responsibility. She promised that the National Assembly will organize more meetings with businesses to listen to their concerns.
