(VOVworld) - Six Vietnamese students have been granted the Prime Minister Australia Asia Awards. At the awarding ceremony in Canberra on Thursday, Minister of Tertiary Education, Skills, Jobs, and Workplace Relations, Chris Evans handed over 20 scholarships for outstanding Asian students including six from Vietnam. Vietnamese Ambassador to Australia Hoang Vinh Thanh said that the move shows Vietnamese students’ talents and passion for research and is of great significance when both countries will celebrate the 40^th anniversary of diplomatic ties next year.
