Vietnamese top leader’s visit to Laos consolidates bilateral friendship: Lao Minister
(VOVWORLD) - Lao Minister of Planning and Investment Suphan Keomixay says Vietnamese Party leader and President Nguyen Phu Trong’s visit to Laos this Sunday will enhance the traditional friendship between the two nations.

Mr. Suphan, interviewed by the Vietnamese News Agency about Mr. Trong’s upcoming 2-day visit, said bilateral cooperation in politics, diplomacy, defense, and security has ensured political stability and social order and created favorable conditions for the national defense and construction of both countries.
Mr. Suphan said Laos considers Mr. Trong’s visit an important event during which new cooperative agreements will be signed.
