Two Primes Ministers launch the Friendship Year

The event marks the 55th anniversary of diplomatic ties and 40 years of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Cooperation Agreement.
Prime Minister Phuc said: “On behalf of leaders of both countries, Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith and I officially launch the Friendship Year 2017 between Vietnam and Laos. I believe that the Friendship Year’s success will contribute to the traditional friendship and special solidarity between our countries, which will be preserved from one generation to another.”
