Vietnam-Netherlands relations develop

(VOVworld) - Relations between Vietnam and the Netherlands have progressed in various fields, notably reflected in the establishment of the strategic partnership in climate change resilience and water management in October, 2010, and in agriculture and food security in June, 2014.

At a reception for new Ambassador of the Netherlands Catharina Trooster in Hanoi on Thursday, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh noted that Vietnam and the Netherlands have coordinated at multilateral forums and international organizations. He expressed his hope that the new Dutch Ambassador will work closely with Vietnamese ministries and sectors to promote cooperation between Vietnam and the Netherlands and the European Union.

Trooster pledged her concerted effort to intensify bilateral cooperation and friendship.
