Vietnam’s anti-corruption initiative program reviewed

(VOVworld)- The Government Inspectorate and the World Bank in Vietnam organized a conference on Friday to review the Anti-Corruption Initiative Program. The participants discussed the program’s outcomes, lessons learned and its impact on the fight against corruption in Vietnam.

Over the last 6 years, the program has been effectively implemented from the grassroots level. A number of localities have worked out their own anti-corruption programs. Le Thi Thuy is Deputy Chief Inspector said:“Most of the anti-corruption programs have been implemented effectively with a large number of beneficiaries and participants. Many creative and educational ideas regarding transparency and uprightness have been introduced. These programs have had a great impact on raising public awareness and behavior towards the fight against corruption. Award-winning initiatives in anti-corruption are the practical inputs for fine-tuning the anti-corruption mechanism”.

Experts at the conference praised Vietnam’s Anti-Corruption Initiative Programs and their impact on the fight against corruption.
