Vietnam’s GDP increases 6.68% in 2015

(VOVworld) – The General Statistics Office (GSO) announced that Vietnam’s GDP in 2015 increased 6.68%, the highest in 5 years. Economic growth was mainly contributed by the industrial and construction sectors. GSO director Nguyen Bich Lam said Vietnam’s GDP growth over the last 5 years can be attributed to the stable macro-economy, the flexible management of monetary policies, low inflation, and reduced interest rates.
