Vietnamese Ambassador to France and Monaco Nguyen Ngoc Son congratulated Roland de Rechniewski for being appointed by the Vietnamese government as honorary consul and hoped that he will contribute to forging closer ties between the two countries. Monaco Foreign Minister Gilles Tonelli praised the consulate opening as beneficial for both countries, especially in economics, tourism and culture.
