Vietnam's strategy to promote local trade open to public feedback
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam's strategy promote the sustainable development of domestic trade until 2025 and vision to 2035 is open for public comment, according to a meeting organized by the Ministry of Trade.

At a conference in Hanoi on Tuesday, Do Thang Hai, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, said domestic trade has played an important role in product consumption, meeting goods demand, and contributing to economic development. Ministry statistics show that total revenue from retail trade and services has grown 10.55 percent a year since 2016.
In the context of international integration and the 4th Industrial Revolution, a strategy for domestic trade development will improve the competitiveness of local firms, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, and boost production and consumption through distribution channels, Mr. Hai said.
