Vietnam’s tourism expects to earn 30 billion USD in 2019

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam hopes to welcome 18 million foreign tourists this year and generate 30 billion USD in revenue.

Nguyen Trung Khanh, General Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, suggested measures to realize the set target. He said: "It’s essential to boost monitoring activities, collaborate with relevant agencies to deal with violations, exchange information, and ensure the prices’ transparency, and the quality of tourism products."

The tourism sector will work harder to attract tourists to Vietnam and promote Vietnam’s image at home and abroad.
