Voice of Vietnam awards 8,600 USD to Vietnamese rowing team
(VOVWORLD) - The Voice of Vietnam has awarded 200 million VND (8,600 USD) to the women’s national rowing team, for displaying excellence in the competition during the Asian Games 2018.
The team won the first gold medal for the Vietnamese sports delegation, lifting the country to 13th position in the medal tally at the ASIAD. The Vietnamese women’s national rowing team consisting of Ta Thanh Huyen, Luong Thi Thao, Ho Thi Ly and Pham Thi Thao, took first place in the women’s lightweight quadruple sculls event.The Iranian team came in second place.
