Addressing the meeting, VOV President Nguyen The Ky said: "As a national media house, the Voice of Vietnam is always ready to participate in communicating the relationship between Vietnam and the UN and UN member organizations as well as between Vietnam and other countries. We are very interested in UN development goals. The One UN program is being effectively implemented in Vietnam."

VOV President Nguyen The Ky said VOV will contribute to increasing public awareness about the UN's models, activities and global values and promote interactions between Vietnamese people, particularly the young generation, and the UN.

Kamal Malhotra, UN Resident Coordinator in Vietnam said: "The core principle of sustainable development goals is leaving no one behind. As we celebrate UN75, the UN is taking opportunities to learn more from the people in all corners of the country in order to better understand the needs and aspiration of Vietnamese people and to best support them. We hope that our relationship with the Voice of Vietnam will be strengthened and scaled up so that together our messages reach as many people as possible in our effort to build a better and sustainable future for Vietnam and its citizens. Our UN communications group colleagues will continue to brainstorm with your staff to come up with concrete and effective plans for our more fruitful cooperation in the time to come."
