(VOVworld) – A Vietnamese delegation led by Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien is attending the 68^th General Assembly of the World Health organization in Geneva.

In her address, Tien said that Vietnam was moving towards establishing a sustainable healthcare system with a focus on improving the quality of doctors and health workers. Vietnam has produced 12 vaccines recognized internationally. Minister Tien said that the WHO in the western Pacific had praised Vietnam’s preparedness to cope with any public health emergencies as well as and Vietnam’s involvement in the global health security system.
