National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong said the education sector has gained considerable achievements, contributing to national renewal, modernization and industrialization. She added that in the context of fast changes of science and technology and the increasing demand for high-quality human resource training, the education sector needs to renovate comprehensively to further serve national construction and defense as well as people’s need for lifelong learning.  Ms. Phong said the workshop provides an opportunity to listen to ideas from experts and seek measures to improve the quality of school education.
