World community expresses unity with Russia after the blast at St.Peterburg

(VOVworld) - Earlier on Monday, a blast rocked St. Petersburg's Sennaya metro station when an unidentified explosive device went off on a train. Latest death tolls indicate that at least 10 people have been killed in the explosion and dozens more have been injured.

European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini offered her condolences to the people of Russia from Luxembourg City, Monday, where she is attending an EU foreign ministers meeting. She stated that EU foreign ministers will have a "more precise reaction" as further details about the blast transpire. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko  and Moldavian Prime Minister Igor Dodon expressed condolences and sympathy to the families of those killed and injured. UN Secretary general Antonia Guterres denounced the bombing and confirmed the culprits will be punished.
