The event, attended by more than 3,000 delegates from 110 countries, will run until Friday.

The forum’s theme “Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World” is in direct contrast to US President Donald Trump’s “America First” policy. Trump is scheduled to address the Davos audience on Friday.

Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue, Head of the Vietnamese delegation, will attend the plenary session, meet with leaders of other countries, international organizations, and enterprises. He will deliver speeches at a session of the ASEAN Regional Strategy Group (RSG), a discussion on ASEAN strategic prospects, and a dialogue on creative financing for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Hue will also speak at an event called “ASEAN in the 4th industrial revolution”, organized by the WEF.
