A Saratov Airlines plane crashed shortly after taking off from Moscow on February 11, 2018, killing all 72 people on board.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and to the people and government of Russia. Vietnam’s President Tran Dai Quang sent a message of condolence to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Russian airliner crashed Sunday shortly after taking off from Moscow, killing everyone on board, including 65 passengers and a crew of six.
