World leaders telegram congratulations on Vietnam’s National Day

(VOVWORLD) -World leaders have sent telegrams of congratulation to Vietnam on the occasion of its National Day on Sep 2.

The Communist Party of China Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang, and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Zhang Dejiang of China extended messages of congratulations to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Tran Dai Quang, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan. hey affirmed that China highly values ties with Vietnam and will strive to foster the comprehensive strategic co-operative partnership between the two countries.

In congratulatory messages sent to the Vietnamese Party, State, government and legislature leaders, Lao Party General Secretary and President Bounnhang Vorachith, Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith and National Assembly Chairwoman Pany Yathotou thanked for valuable and timely support from Vietnam to Laos’ national construction and defense.

The Standing Committee of the Cambodian People's Party Central Committee, Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen, National Assembly President Samdech Heng Samrin and Acting President of the Senate Nay Penna stated confidently that under the sound leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese people will achieve new and greater successes as stated in the 12th National Party Congress resolutions.

Cuban President Castro Ruz in his congratulation message pledged to promote the historical friendship and cooperation with Vietnam.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin wished to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership in all fields and cooperate to settle pressing international issues for mutual benefit and for peace and stability in the Asia Pacific.

Japanese Emperor Akihito congratulated President Tran Dai Quang on this occasion, recalling his visit to Vietnam early this year.

Vietnam received other congratulation messages from the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Singapore President and Prime Minister, and Thai Prime Minister.
