(VOVworld) - World Vision International (WVI) will provide 1.8 million USD to support development in Quang Tri Province.

According to the Quang Tri provincial People’s Committee, the program aims to enhance the living standards of poor people, especially children and women, by developing agriculture, education, health care service, and child protection. The WVI program will be implemented for two years in Dak Rong, Hai Lang, Trieu Phong and Vinh Linh district. Nguyen Duc Quang, Deputy Director of the Quang Tri Department of External Affairs, said: “The support program will focus on improving the living conditions of the Pa Ko and Van Kieu ethnic minority people through livelihood and community support activities. The program will be implemented for 3-5 years with non-refundable aid.”
