Miss beauties and fashion models introduced a collection made from recycled materials.

Do Thi Kim Hoa, Director of the National Voluntary Center said: “We aim to spread a message that good deeds are not superb activities, but what we can do every day to protect the environment. Youth Union members and ordinary people can treat the environment nicely by not throwing waste massively, classifying waste, and using environmentally friendly products.”

Participants also collected waste around the Hoan Kiem Lake. Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong, a member of a voluntary group, said: “We are here at 8 am every Sunday, carrying with us clips, gloves, and bags to collect waste around the lake to make the capital city cleaner and improve people’s awareness on environmental protection. This work needs the involvement of the administration to make our country more beautiful.”
