It features dozens of on-stage and off-stage activities on various areas, ranging from concert, sport, cultural performances, fashion show to creative game for kids and knowledge – stimulating activities. Addressing the opening ceremony, Hanoi Mayor Nguyen Duc Chung said the event creates a significant cultural space for local people and expected more similar events to strengthen ties with European countries: “Visitors to the “Europe Village” will enjoy various European cultural aspects right here in downtown Hanoi. They would learn more from Europe, its science and technological advances, working disciplines, culture, arts and food dishes.”

The Europe Days will highlight concerts and a book launching event “European Cultural Heritage”. 2018 has been designated the European Year of Cultural Heritage by the European Union, with the slogan “Our heritage: where the past meets the future.”
