“Feel Russia” Festival opens in Hanoi

(VOVworld) - The Feel Russia festival featuring important creative achievements in Russia’s culture opened in Hanoi on Saturday. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Head of the Department of International Cooperation under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Ngoc Dinh hailed the festival’s significance in the two countries’ cultural exchanges and cooperation. Russia’s Ambassador to Vietnam Konstantin Vnukov said cultural cooperation plays an important role in the two countries’ growing relations in all aspects. He added that cultural exchanges have contributed to enhancing mutual understanding on traditional culture and customs of Vietnam and Russia.

The festival features "Russian Style" – an orchestra of folk instruments, "DoubleMax" – a duet of young students from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and Northern Dawns Folk Dance Ensemble – a group helping to spread folk music across Russia.

The two-day event also presents the photo exhibition "Beautiful Country" featuring Russian nature and tourist attractions.
