Festival showcases Hanoi’s handicrafts

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Craft Village festival 2017 kicked off on Thursday in Hanoi, featuring products from famous craft villages such as Chu Dau pottery, Bat Trang pottery, and Van Phuc silk, as well as top-quality tea and the tea culture of Vietnam.

Director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Centre for Agriculture Dao Van Ho said: “The fair is an opportunity for craftsmen and artisans to expand outlets and introduce traditional products to potential partners at home and abroad. We will continue to host larger festivals of this kind to support craft villages.”  

There are more than 1300 craft villages in Hanoi.
