Forbes announces Vietnam’s 40 most valuable brands

(VOVWORLD) -Forbes Vietnam on Monday released its 2017 list of the 40 most valuable brands in Vietnam with a combined value of 5.4 billion USD, up 20% since last year.

Vinamilk topped the list with a brand value of 1.7 billion USD, followed by telecommunications group Viettel, and property developer-retailer Vingroup. The list was created from more than 300 local brands, excluding foreign brands with products made in Vietnam. Vietcombank ranks first among domestic banks. Forbes describes Vietcombank as the most effective company in business performance in Vietnam in the past 5 years. The bank is also on the Forbes 2017 Global 2000 list of the world’s biggest and most powerful public companies.
