(VOVworld) - Vietnam Fatherland Front President Nguyen Thien Nhan has upheld the value of national unity as a major driving force for national development and international integration.

He was speaking in the opening ceremony of a week featuring national unity and cultural heritages in Hanoi to mark the 86^th anniversary of the Fatherland Front and the Day for Vietnamese Cultural Heritage on November 23:“National unity strength should be promoted with more access to information for the public on national development. Public opinions on cultural preservation are important. This is a strategic task of the whole political system from central to local levels and must be carried out through specific and diverse activities.”
