Opening up new vision in Vietnam-Japan relations

(VOVworld) - Head of the Party Central Committee’s External Commission, Hoang Binh Quan, has hailed Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong’s recent visit to Japan as opening up new vision for bilateral partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia.

He told the press that the visit deepened political trust and strengthen economic connectivity to promote development, productivity and resources. Both agreed to boost defense exchanges while Japan supports Vietnam’s participation in the UN peace keeping activities and law enforcement at sea. Vietnam recognized and praised Japan’s commitment to peaceful development and its active contribution to peace, cooperation and development in the world.
