(VOVworld) – One of the core tasks of the 12^th tenure of the Party Central Committee will be the continued implementation of strategic breakthroughs, restructuring the economy, and changing the growth model. Most of the questioned people believe  policies and guidelines will be implemented after the 12^th National Party Congress.

Economist Luu Bich Ho said it is necessary to boost industrialization and modernization linked with a knowledge-based economy, fine-tune institutions, and develop a socialist-oriented market economy: “As Vietnam has signed a number of new generation free trade agreements like the TPP, it’s essential to step up institutional reforms and develop a market economy to serve international integration. I hope that the set targets will be achieved.”

Nguyen Van Khanh of Me Linh, Hanoi, said: “I hope that after the congress its resolution will be put in place immediately, which will stimulate Vietnam’s economy. Policies should be implemented to develop a socialist-oriented market economy.”
