(VOVworld) - The Bai Dinh Pagoda festival will start on Thursday, the 6th day of the first lunar month. The festival, one of the largest in the north, will include a Buddha worship ritual, and a parade to pray for peace and happiness for the nation and people.

Thich Minh Quang from Bai Dinh pagoda: “We have prepared a lot of calendars and best wishes papers to offer
visitors for free. Guidance services will be provided so visitors
could travel in the correct sequence. Lanes for pedestrians and electric cars
will be defined to facilitate pilgrims.”
The Huong Pagoda festival, which will also open on Thursday, is expected to welcome up to
1.5 million visitors this season, generating 4.5 million USD of revenues to
the state budget.
