UN reports acknowledge Vietnamese progress in religious freedom

(VOVworld) - UN Special Rapporteur Heiner Bielefeldt has praised Vietnam’s increasing number of religious followers, clerics, and worshiping temples. In the UN Human Rights Committee’s dialogue on religious freedom and beliefs earlier this week, the special rapporteur recommended Vietnam’s further improvement of laws on religious affairs and wished for more cooperation with Vietnam in his mission.
