Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam told the summit that Vietnam is one of the countries most vulnerable to malware threats. He asked state agencies, associations, and IT firms to work closely in sharing information and ensuring cyber security. “We have to pay special attention to cyber security. This is not only a business opportunity but also a responsibility of IT firms. State agencies have to issue legal documents on this field. If we promote IT application without taking technical issues, human resources, information safety, and cyber security into consideration, we’ll have to pay a higher price than what we will gain.”
