Vietnam, Japan reinforce IT cooperation

(VOVworld) – The Vietnam-Japan information technology day was held in Hanoi on Wednesday by the Vietnam Software & IT Services Association (VINASA) and the Vietnam - Japan IT Cooperation Club (VJC).

This year’s event, themed “10 years of Vietnam-Japan collaboration, a look at the past, heading to the future: IT services – IT products – New technology”, attracted hundreds of Vietnamese and Japanese IT companies. Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Hung said that the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Japan has been developing strongly, based on a strategic partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia. Regarding information technology, Vietnam and Japan have taken important steps forward, signing several agreements on information security frequencies, postal services, human resources training, and pledged to reinforce e-commerce development.
