Vietnam tourism promoted in Q4

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam National Administration of Tourism will promote tours in major markets like China and India in the last quarter of this year.

It will also participate in major international trade and travel fairs like ITB Asia in Singapore late October and WTM in London early November. The Administration will also welcome 8 business delegations who come to survey Vietnam tourism. Nguyen Van Tuan, Director General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, said: “For the remainder of the year, we will work with localities, business communities, and partners, including international airlines and travel companies, to promote Vietnam tourism overseas, particularly in China, East Asia, ASEAN, and Russia. Attention continues to be paid to distant markets whose citizens have stayed for a long period of time and spent a lot of money in Vietnam.”

In the past 9 months, Vietnam tourism sector welcomed 9.4 million foreign visitors, 28.4% higher than last year and earned 16.3 billion USD.
