(VOVworld)-Domestic businesses have offered a wide variety of products to meet local consumers during the 2017 Lunar New Year or Tet holiday.

At traditional markets, supermarkets, and major trading centers, made-in-Vietnam products are on display with diverse patterns and good quality.

Thu Ha, the owner of a confectionary shop in Hang Buom Street, Hanoi, said: “Vietnamese products are favored this year because of their diversity and taste. For example, Lai Phu cakes have various types suitable to Vietnamese people's taste.”

Many Vietnamese enterprises have invested in new production lines to turn out products with beautiful designs and good quality, but cheaper than imported items. Here are the opinions of several customers about locally-made goods:

“Vietnamese goods’ patterns and designs now are eye-catching and look delicious. Generally, I buy Vietnamese products because I like them.”

“This year, Vietnamese businesses have diversified their products. I’ve chosen some for my family.”

“In recent years, I have changed to buy made-in-Vietnam goods which have been much sought after.”

The program to stabilize prices for Vietnamese confectionary and food is running at supermarkets and trading centers.
