(VOVworld) – Voters nationwide have shown an interest in the first session of the 14th National Assembly.

Tran Van Hai from Tam Duong town in Lai Chau province says: “The quality of legislators has greatly improved, which was seen in the careful inspection of the elected deputies' eligibility. I hope that lawmakers in this tenure have clear political views and be courageous to touch upon the issues of voters’ concerns.”

Voter Pham Mai hung of Bao Dap commune in Yen Bai province says: “Key state leaders were elected at the NA’s first session to guide the nation. I hope that they who have won confidence from the people and the legislature will do their utmost both intellectually and morally to turn Vietnam into a more developed nation for international integration and industrialization.”

Phan Xuan Thi, a voter from Phuoc Binh ward in Ho Chi Minh City, says: “I strongly believe in the members of this tenure’s NA and hope that the legislature will have breakthroughs in its directions in legal aspects and economic strategies. During their debates, deputies set major targets and discuss their missions to lead the nation.”

M’nong ethnic voter H’mang Nie from Dac Nuoi hamlet in Dac Lak province says: “Like other ethnic voters in Pay Pi commune, I expect that the NA and government will make more reforms to develop a prosperous nation with a stable politics, society, security, and defense. We hope that the government will pay more practical attention to ethnic minority groups in the Central Highlands region, particularly in economic development and poverty reduction.”
