"This is my very first trip to President Ho Chi Minh’s hometown. I was super curious and excited before the trip. Visiting President Ho Chi Minh’s simple thatched house I admire him more. This trip helps us learn more about Vietnam’s history and inspire our patriotism. We’re proud to be Vietnamese," said Vietnamese Ukrainian Tran Phuong Anh.

Ngo Duc Tai Anh of Belarus told VOV: "Although I’ve read a lot about Uncle Ho from newspapers and the internet and learned that he’s a man of simplicity, I was surprised to visit his house today. We’re proud of him and Vietnam. This trip is a great opportunity for young overseas Vietnamese like me to better understand about Vietnam."

Earlier, they visited the Dinh Hoa safety zone in Thai Nguyen province which was the headquarters of the Vietnamese Army from 1947 to 1954 during Vietnam’s resistance war against the French colonialists.
