(VOVworld)- Leaders of several countries and the world community have in recent days continued to express their condolences on General Vo Nguyen Giap’s death and praised the General as a great military strategist and a symbol of bravery.

In a message of condolence to President Truong Tan Sang, Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika stressed that the name of the General would always inscribe in the memory of the Algerians. The Lao Revolutionary Party and State in their message of condolence wrote that General Vo Nguyen Giap contributed greatly to the development of the special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries. The Lao’s Party Central Committee will send a high-ranking delegation led by Party General Secretary and President Chummaly Saynhasone to attend the General’s funeral. Cuban reporter Marta Rojas, who visited Vietnam several times during the anti-America war stressed that General Giap was a bright example for Vietnamese generations and peace loving countries around the world.
