The event was organized by the Binh Thuan provincial People’s Committee and the Ministry of Information and Communications. The displayed items include documents in Han script, Vietnamese, and French issued by Vietnamese federal regimes and French authorities in Indochina from the 17th to the early 20th century, which show Vietnam’s continuous sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. The exhibit also includes royal documents of the Nguyen dynasty relating to exploitation and management of the archipelagos, and versions of administrative documents issued by the Republic of Vietnam in the South of Vietnam from 1954 to 1975 and by the Socialist Republic of Vietnam after 1975 which confirm Vietnam’s sovereignty over those archipelagos.
