(VOVworld)-Documents confirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over Truong Sa (Spratlys) and Hoang Sa (Paracels) are on display at an exhibition in the Mekong Delta province of Can Tho. The exhibits, including publications, items and nearly 100 maps publicized since the 17^th century, represent part of the strong historical and legal evidence of Vietnam’s sovereignty over the two archipelagos in the East Sea.

“The exhibition aims to raise public awareness and responsibilities in safeguarding national sovereignty. It also helps promote patriotism among the population”, Nguyen Dinh Tao from the Ministry of Information and Communications explained.

The exhibition, co-organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications and Military Zone 9, will run until next Tuesday.
