The event was co-organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee. The 5-day exhibition will showcase nearly 100 maps, documents, and photos, which were collected by domestic and foreign researchers, affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over the two islands.

The Ministry of Information and Communications has coordinated with 44 cities and provinces, 10 island districts, and 10 armed forces nationwide to organize 64 exhibitions on Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Islands.

A house to display objects related to Hoang Sa and Truong Sa islands will be built at the Nha Trang Institute of Oceanography in the central province of Khanh Hoa. The architecture of the building was discussed at a meeting held by the provincial People’s Committee on Tuesday. With an investment of 2.25 million USD, the house will have a total area of 2,000 square meters, and exhibit around 20,000 documents and objects affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over its sea and islands, especially the two archipelagos.
