(VOVworld) - The golden lyrical rice terraced landscapes of the northern mountainous region of Hoang Su Phi this time of year appear as though they have been lifted directly out of an ancient mythological fairy tale.

From afar, whole fields look like giant staircases leading up to the vast sky with the green of young rice or the golden of the ripe rice.

Hoang Su Phi is famous locally as the rice terraced fields that consistently attract the great number of tourists each year.

Every September the allure of the wonderful views of speckled yellowing rice fields attracts tens of thousands of visitors who are looking for a tranquil and serene atmosphere.
