(VOVworld) – The number of visitors to central provinces has increased sharply during the 4-day holiday to mark Vietnam’s 69th National Day. Marine tourism is one of the most popular choices. Nha Trang city in Khanh Hoa province has welcomed 37,000 tourists, nearly 10,000 of which are foreigners.
Da Nang city, meanwhile, is expected to receive more than 90,000 arrivals. Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Cultures, Sports and Tourism Tran Chi Cuong said: “There have been new international flights to Da Nang and we added flights from Japan this year. This will help local travel agencies to expand their overseas market.”
In Thua Thien Hue province, tours have been diversified to include the Hue relic site and relaxation tourism. Tran Huu, a visitor from Ha Tinh province, said: “Hue is crowded with tourists during these days. I love to visit Hue and we will certainly come back.”
