G20 debates global economic changes

(VOVworld) - Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors of developed countries and the world newly emerging economies or G20 gathered in Turkey’s capital of Ankara on Friday to discuss the global economic developments following China’s devaluation of its currency, the stagnation of emerging economies, and the slow recovery of developed countries.

Officials of many G20 members including Japan and India affirmed that recent changes in the Chinese market and its impacts will top the agenda of the two-day meeting. Ministers will review the implementation of the group’s strategic growth targets and assess future investment strategies.
