(VOVworld)- On Monday, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and a National Assembly deputy delegation briefed local voters in Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong city, on the results of the 9^th session of the 13^th National Assembly.

The Prime Minister pointed out the government’s major tasks which are aimed at promoting higher economic growth, maintaining socio-political stability, strengthening national defense and security, ensuring national sovereignty and territorial integrity and successfully organizing Party congresses at various levels. The Prime Minister agreed on the need to increase budget investment for rural areas while mobilizing other resources to improve the socio-economic infrastructure. He promised more assistance for fishermen to boost production and at the same time protect national sovereignty. Prime Minister Dung said the situation in the East Sea is becoming complicated and that Vietnam is determined to defend its sovereignty by peaceful means in line with international law.
