PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc receives former Australian PM Kevin Rudd
(VOVworld) – Vietnam wishes to promote multi-faceted cooperation and friendship with Australia. At a reception for former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said the Vietnam-Australia comprehensive partnership has flourished.

The two-way trade turnover has increased by 10 percent per year. Australia is a major market for Vietnamese exports, especially its agricultural produce. Mr. Phuc said Vietnam wants to cooperate with Australia in various fields including politics, trade, investment, culture and education. He requested closer ties between the two countries at regional and international forums for peace and prosperity.
Rudd said he would continue to promote cooperation between Vietnam and Australia and that the two countries needed to deepen their future relations and friendship.
