Vietnam, China security ministries want closer ties

(VOVworld) - Vietnamese Minister of Public Security To Lam and his visiting Chinese counterpart Guo Shengkun shared the wish for stronger links between the two ministries in the future, contributing to the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two nations.

The two ministers expressed the wish at their talks held in Hanoi on Sunday during Minister Guo Shengkun’s working visit to Vietnam.

They said the relations between the two countries and the two ministries have been expanded continually with positive results made in many fields.

Later the same day, the two ministers co-chaired the fifth conference on anti-crime cooperation between the two ministries, during which they set forth cooperation orientations from now until 2018, and signed a memorandum of understanding on the outcomes of the conference.
