(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has praised the practical contributions of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations to national development. During a working session on Tuesday, he asked the ministries, localities and the Union to increase cooperation in scientific research and criticism. He added that it was important to boost international cooperation, encourage private investment in science and technology, and increase communication in this field. He said: “It’s essential to enhance the role of scholars in national industrialization, modernization and integration as well as increase the competitiveness of all sectors. Education, training, science, and technology are our top priorities and the driving force for national growth.”

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said that the government would make it easier for the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations to continue to develop.
