“Proud of Vietnamese goods-Essence of Vietnamese goods” Week launched nationwide

(VOVWORLD) - "Proud of Vietnamese goods-Essence of Vietnamese goods" Week began last Sunday. This is a key activity of the national program to develop the domestic market in the 2021-2025 period through a campaign called "Vietnamese people prioritize Vietnamese goods".

A number of supermarkets in Hanoi are offering promotions, in-store product testing, and other activities to market Vietnamese products and brands.

Saigon Co.op has reserved a large corner for Vietnamese products. Le Van Liem, Director of Saigon Co.op in the north, says the “Proud of Vietnamese goods” program offers big discounts to boost sales and increase the prestige of Vietnamese products.

“The program has been welcomed by consumers. We have implemented several programs to help Vietnamese products reach consumers as quickly as possible,” said Liem.

As part of the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize Vietnamese goods", businesses have cooperated to form a network of production, distribution, and sales nationwide.

Do Thang Hai, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade and Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee of the campaign, said: “We want to help Vietnamese businesses improve their products’ quality to meet consumer demand in the context of stronger competition. The program connects domestic businesses and the overseas Vietnamese community to export Vietnamese goods.”
