“Touching Hanoi autumn” series explores Hanoi’s beauty

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam’s thousand-year-old capital city is showcased in a campaign called “Touching Hanoi autumn”. The sports, cultural, and music events are co-organized by Vietnam Airlines and Hanoi authorities from late September to November 2025.

The campaign began with the “Run for Love” event on Sunday, when 2,000 participants ran along a scenic route beside Hanoi’s West Lake.

Upcoming events include a dragon boat and stand-up paddle-boat festival on West Lake and a “Fly to Hanoi” campaign, which Le Hong Ha, CEO of Vietnam Airlines, described this way. “The campaign offers Vietnamese people and international tourists new experiences of Hanoi through a series of sport and cultural activities. Vietnam Airlines wants to reaffirm its commitment to working closely with Hanoi and Vietnam’s tourism sector to embed cultural identity in tourism products.”

The public will be introduced to the Vietnam Airlines Classic-Hanoi Concert in the heart of the Old Quarter and the 5AM Concert, a convergence of modernity and tradition.

Nguyen Manh Quyen, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, says the campaign promote sustainable socio-economic development and the capital’s tourism brand. “This is the first year of collaboration between Vietnam Airlines and Hanoi to under the theme “Touching Hanoi autumn”. It reflects our aspirations and intentions.”

“Touching Hanoi autumn” is part of a long-term strategy to position Hanoi as a popular cultural and tourism destination.
